Cities Turn Purple as ARMYs Gear Up for BTS Reunion – V Joins the Fun with Playful Tease: ‘What now?’

BIGHIT has officially revealed post-military plans for BTS members V, Jungkook, RM, and Jimin, and ARMYs are already flooding social media with welcome-back projects. The excitement goes both ways — recently, Kim Taehyung jumped on Weverse, and when a fan said, “Just nine days left until your discharge — are you ready, Taehyung?” he enthusiastically replied, “Yes! What should we do now?
What do you want to do?” Meanwhile, HYBE is preparing for solo concerts, new music releases, and a large-scale fan festival. However, a full group comeback and album will take a bit more time.
BTS’ V responds to a fan’s reminder about the group’s return
V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has been serving in the counter-terrorism unit (SDT) alongside BTS leader RM, maintaining a low profile during his military service. Now, with just days left until his discharge, he responded to a screenshot showing his countdown app labeled “Sergeant Elio D-9.” Curious fans asked about the name ‘Elio’ and a quirky photo of him feeding a sheep.

Taehyung explained that ‘Elio’ was his English name during his time at an English fairy tale school and jokingly added, “Yes, I even bought grass.” When asked if he planned to meet fans like Jin and J-Hope did, he assured them, “Of course, I need to see ARMY as soon as possible.” He then teased fans with a playful message: “You waited, so what do you want now? Tell me everything.”
What’s next for Jin
Following in the footsteps of Suga and J-Hope, BTS’s eldest member Jin is now gearing up for his very first solo fan concerts, titled the “#Runseokjin_EP.Tour.” Known for his soulful track “Epiphany,” Jin recently made his solo comeback with his second full-length album Echo in April 2025. The tour builds on the popularity of his solo variety show Run Seokjin, blending music and his signature humor. After kicking things off in Seoul, he’ll take the stage in 18 shows across nine major cities around the globe.

What’s next for J-Hope
J-Hope is closing out his electrifying world tour with a grand finale in Osaka on June 13-14, where he’s set to dominate the stage one last time with his signature energy and hits. Titled “Hope on the Stage Final,” the concert marks the end of a successful run of sold-out stadium shows across the globe.
Fans can also look forward to a special surprise — the live debut of his brand-new digital single, “Killin’ It Girl” featuring rapper GloRilla. According to BigHit, “Every detail is being carefully planned so fans can fully experience J-Hope’s powerful stage presence and unforgettable performance.”

BTS Festa 2025
BTS FESTA is scheduled for June 13-14 at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, celebrating the group’s 12th debut anniversary. This yearly event is a much-loved tradition for ARMY worldwide, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Fans can explore over 20 exhibition booths and enjoy a dazzling “Army Bomb” light show. Although surprise visits from BTS members haven’t been confirmed, attendees can look forward to special attractions like the “Voice Zone,” featuring pre-recorded messages, a “Trophy Zone” displaying BTS’s numerous awards, and a “BTS Locker” showcasing personal memorabilia from the members.

BTS’ Art exhibition
In addition to FESTA and the solo tours, the agency is launching “Presence in Absence: Chapter 2, BTS Art” — a major fan art exhibition in Seoul’s Seongdong District running until June 29. Showcasing creations from 20 artists representing 13 countries, this event is being hailed as the largest independent BTS fan art exhibition ever, both in terms of global participation and the number of featured artists. The exhibit highlights the unique personalities of each BTS member through diverse artistic interpretations.
