Price and Variants

The price of the updated Vespa scooters starts above ₹1.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Tech S top variant goes up to nearly ₹2 lakh.
Currently, prices have been revealed only for the 125cc versions. Prices for 150cc variants will be announced later.

New Variant Names and Looks

  • The older Vespa VXL is now simply called Vespa.
  • The older SXL is now renamed as Vespa S.

Both versions carry the same strong monocoque metal body.
The Vespa standard version has an oval headlamp and a curvy body for a classic look.
The Vespa S has a new trapezoidal headlamp, giving it a sportier appearance.

Updated Engine Performance

The 2025 Vespa range comes with new 125cc and 150cc engine options.
These engines follow the latest emission rules (OBD-2B compliant).

Vespa 125cc Engine:

  • Power: 9.3 bhp @ 7,100 RPM
  • Torque: 10.1 Nm @ 5,600 RPM
  • Gearbox: CVT (Automatic)

Vespa 150cc Engine:

  • Power: 11.4 bhp @ 7,500 RPM
  • Torque: 11.66 Nm @ 6,100 RPM

Compared to the previous models, these engines have about 0.5 bhp more power and 0.6 Nm more torque. That means better pickup and smoother rides.
