
The result of NEET UG 2025, India’s biggest medical entrance exam – is expected to be released on Saturday, 14th June, which is today. According to sources from NTA (National Testing Agency), the results are ready and may be uploaded on the official website neet.nta.nic. in by afternoon or evening.
NEET 2025 Exam Data
- Over 20.8 lakh students appeared in the exam held on 4th May 2025.
- 91.5% students actually gave the exam out of 22.76 lakh registered students.
- Exam was held in 5,453 centers across 548 cities in India.
Which States Had Most Candidates?
Top 5 states with the highest number of candidates:
- Uttar Pradesh (UP) – 3.38 lakh
- Maharashtra – 2.48 lakh
- Rajasthan – 2.03 lakh
- Karnataka – 1.49 lakh
- Bihar – 1.44 lakh
Lowest numbers were from North-Eastern states like:
- Nagaland – 3,909
- Meghalaya – 3,846
- Mizoram – 2,431
- Sikkim – 1,181
From outside India, around 4,566 candidates appeared.
NEET 2025 Paper Was Not Easy
This year, NEET UG was tough – especially Physics and Chemistry sections.

- Biology questions were mostly from NCERT syllabus, but needed conceptual understanding.
- Physics topics like Modern Physics, Thermodynamics, and Electrodynamics were difficult.
- Students said time management was hard because of long and tricky questions.
- Experts said the level was like AIIMS entrance exams – focusing more on logic and reasoning than rote learning.

Once the result is live, follow these steps:
- Go to the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
- Click on ‘NEET UG 2025 Result’ link on homepage
- Enter your Application Number, Date of Birth, and Security Pin
- Your result will appear on the screen
- Download and print your scorecard for future use

What Will Be in the NEET 2025 Scorecard?
Your NEET scorecard will show:
- Your name, parents’ name, date of birth
- Category, total marks, All India Rank (AIR)
- Cut-off marks for your category
